reskaqy is the electronic & gothic-influenced music project of a Toronto-born artist & writer, shaped by years spent in libraries, in dialogue with old books, strange symbols, & esotericism. This work lives at the intersection of text & sound, past & future, the haunted & the reflective.
reskaqy is a creative practice rendered in voice, guitar, beats, and synthesis. The music is supplemented by photo & video.
Influences include artists who resist categories & make worlds of their own, even if I don't directly take after them: Chelsea Wolfe, The Cure, Nine Inch Nails, Bauhaus, Kate Bush, and Tom Waits. Discover more here.
